Mr. Osborne has been in the foundry business since 1965 starting in the family foundry as a teenager after school. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin, he joined the Marine Corps as a commissioned officer. Subsequently Mr. Osborne worked for a number of foundries and had an association with a machining house, his focus being on diesel engine components and hydraulics.
Mr. Osborne has been with Lakeside Sales Ltd., the parent company of LGO Global Sourcing for 19 years and has spent 6 years qualifying and developing Chinese sources and contacts to best meet the current market requirements. By building an understanding of our cultural differences Mr. Osborne has established criteria to aid LGO Global Sourcing to meet the growing global needs for current and potential customers. For over seven years Andrew worked both in Canada and Finland with Linamar Company, Pratt and Whitney, Inc., McMaster University, Caterpillar Company, ASIMCO, MAT Company, Mercury Marine, Australian PBR International, Inc. and Rauma Offshore, Ltd. in Finland.
Andrew holds a Doctorate of Technology in Metal Materials from Tampere University of Technology in Finland, a Masters of Science degree in Welding Technology from Beijing Polytechnic University and his undergraduate degree in Welding Technology from Wuhan Transportation University in Wuhan, China. Andrew has authored over twenty publications in international academic journals and is co-author of a U.S. patent, “Refractory element coating for cutting tool by electro-chemical method”. He has been invited to give presentations before international academic conferences held in the U.S., Canada, Singapore and Spain. She has been instrumental in the development of the administrative, accounting and operational infrastructure for LGO Global Sourcing. Patti currently oversees all US project management, accounting and human resource departments. Patti works as a member of the executive committee and communicates with the Director of Chinese Operations in regards to quality and Chinese product procurement and delivery. She has been responsible for the development of all international financial cash management and accounting transactions. She has also received the Certificate of Accounting Professional issued by the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China. As an undergraduate, she worked as an English translator for Beijing B.W.T. Translation Company, Ltd and CAV Thakral Home Entertainment, Ltd. She spent one year after graduation in the sales and marketing department of Beijing Med-Pharm Company, Ltd., a Delaware Corporation with Chinese subsidiaries. This experience has enriched her understanding of western culture, history and business relationships.As Resource Manager for LGO Global Sourcing, she is involved in locating and qualifying potential sources and establishing viable and stable business relationships with these sources on behalf of LGO Global. She is our main contact to follow projects and orders and to assist our suppliers with technical and business communications. | | Zhan Jichen - Technical and Quality Field Manager Jichen studied machinery and automobile production at the Beijing Automobile Profession School. Upon graduation he worked at Beijing Automobile Factory and was responsible for tool making and the maintenance of the tooling and equipment. From 1984-2003, Jichen was employed by Beijing Jeep Corporation, Lid, the first and largest light off-road automotive manufacturing joint venture in China (between Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation, Daimler-Chrysler Corporation and Daimler Chrysler China Investment Corporation), as an engineer in charge of establishing process and flow and cycle time. During his employment he was Director of Production and took part in a successful technical competition sponsored by Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin municipal Technical Association. He later was asked to organize other such competitions. He has also worked at Beijing Jeep foundry and forging shop where he was involved in the development of equipment and processes through technical innovations. He also worked with the subcontractors of Beijing Jeep Foundry when his technical experience was required.
